Accreditation / CERPS / CEUs /CPD points

CERPs and CEU / CPD points are applied for and/or approved as stated on our website. iLactation is a long-term CERPs provider accepted by IBLCE®. iLactation CERPs can be used for re-certification for both IBCLC® and CLC certificants as well as for other credentials. The IBLCE® self-assesssment process requires users to allocate their CERPs according to the topic areas identified by their Personalised Professional Development Plan (PPDP). The PPDP will show you the topic areas of the IBCLC Detailed Content Outline where you need to focus your continuing education. Individual users should review the Detailed Content Outline to ensure that the conference presentation topic aligns with the required continuing education area. Any topic areas provided by iLactation for conferences from late 2021 onwards are suggestions only.

CME / CNE points are awarded by the Interstate Post-graduate Medical Association (IPMA). iLactation has no control over the amount or type of CMEs/CNEs awarded for each Conference and these may be subject to change.
Health professional organizations around the world have different requirements for CPD/CEU and re-accreditation points. Many accept international CPD certificates. It is your responsibility to check what is required by your organization.
You must be signed in with your own username and password in order to receive CPD accreditation for a particular presentation.
iLactation is required by IBLCE and IPMA to track all video views to prove attendance at the conference. Tracking records are attached to each participant’s username and log in activity. You cannot claim points for presentations not viewed.

Certificates must be generated by you, the participant. You may choose multiple certificate types to cover your education or re-accreditation needs.
Certificates can be generated as many times as you like. Be aware that certificates do not constitute full proof of attendance. iLactation’s video viewing records constitute proof of attendance for IBLCE audit and IPMA record purposes.
Certificates can be generated any time after the opening of the conference and can be generated per presentation, or at the end once all desired presentations have been viewed. Only presentations viewed in full can be claimed on the certificate.
