- Discuss recent research and initiatives contributing to parents’ success in achieving their breastfeeding goals.
- Outline strategies assisting parents to overcome specific challenges and concerns relating to infant feeding.
- Describe the importance of culturally specific and appropriate factors in facilitating equity of access to breastfeeding support.
- Recognise the importance of counselling skills in the role of the lactation professional.
- Identify new initiatives in the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence as tools for education and research in lactation.
