Target Audience: This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of Physicians, Neonatologists, Pediatricians, GPs, IBCLCs, Nurse practitioners, Registered Nurses, Midwives, Registered dietitians, CLCs, Peer supporters, Doulas, and Childbirth educators.

Conference Objectives: At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to:
  1. Describe new and innovative approaches to providing breastfeeding support.
  2. Discuss implications of recent research findings relating to breastfeeding for mothers and infants.
  3. Recognise and integrate ways to achieve better breastfeeding rates and outcomes.
  4. Outline strategies to help families with breastfeeding in special circumstances.
  5. Identify skills to respond and assist in managing some challenges in the early days of lactation.

Criteria for successful completion for continuing education credit: In order to be eligible for continuing education credits for this conference, you must have viewed all of the presentations in full, either in one sitting or in several sittings, and for CME and CNE credits, you must successfully complete a post-test (passing with a score of 70% or more) and an evaluation. iLactation tracks and submits viewing records for each participant to the certifying authorities.
